Our Catered Chalet Holidays are designed to strike that perfect balance; retaining all the core aspects of a great chalet holiday whilst removing any unnecessary frills to provide the best possible value.

Below we've talked about all the aspects of your ski holiday, though if you've any questions at all please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Transfers from Geneva Airport.

We can provide transfers to and from Geneva airport (the cost is £40 per person return for transfers, or included free for the 2011 - 2012 ski season). In that case we would take over your catered chalet holiday from the moment you arrive at Geneva airport. From there it's about an hour's drive up to Les Gets, France .

Arranging All your Extras

Whilst in our ski chalets we will look after everything for you. We can pre-buy your Les Gets lift passes and have them ready & waiting in the chalets for you. We can arrange all of your ski lessons and the ski hire equipment is even fitted in the comfort of your chalet! Please note ski / snowboard hire, lift passes and ski / snowboard lessons are not included in the price of your ski holiday.

Ski Hosting in Les Gets

We provide Ski Hosting twice a week. On a Monday we show you around the slopes of Les Gets and Morzine, and on the Wednesday or Thursday we'll show you the Portes du Soleil, sometimes even skiing into Switzerland and back! Ski hosting is for those who are happy skiing a red run. Please note we are not ski instructors (unfortunately!), so we cannot show you any technique, this is just to show you our favourite bits of the mountain and help you to get your bearings in the Largest Ski Area in Europe!

Les Gets Catered Chalets - Your Inclusive Meals

Our meals, designed by professional chef Raphael Cabuis, are all freshly prepared and wholesome for a skier's appetite. We are not though aiming for haute-cuisine, in our experience many skiers are looking for high quality home-cooked meals that are freshly prepared & nutritious on their chalet holidays, and this is what we serve each day.

We are more than happy to cater for vegetarians and for any food allergies. Please just let us know your requirements when you book.

A large breakfast is included everyday with croissants and pain au chocolates hot from the oven, eggs cooked how you like them, bread, jams, cereals including porridge, tea, coffee, juices, ham, cheese, yoghurts and fruit.

Afternoon Tea is laid out for you each day. When you return from the slopes you will find a freshly baked cake, tea, coffee, bread and jams all waiting for you in the Chalet.

We provide a freshly prepared 3 course evening meal (except on the one staff day off during your chalet holiday). Breakfast and afternoon tea are included still on the one staff day off each week, they will be laid out ready for you to help yourself. The 3 courses alternates between Starter, Main & Dessert and Main, Dessert & Cheeseboard. There is no evening meal on staff night off and this is your opportunity to explore the many restaurants Les Gets has to offer. Please just ask if you'd like us to make any recommendations or book a restaurant for you.

Drinks in the Chalets

Tea, coffee & juices are always available. Alcoholic drinks maybe be purchased in the chalet too. We have an honesty bar type system. Please note though we keep the prices reasonable, it's nothing like a hotel mini-bar type prices! You are of course though more than welcome to bring your own drinks into the chalets as well.

Your Chalet Hosts

We will be in the chalets with you not only for the cleaning and to prepare your meals, but also to help arrange anything from booking restaurants to arranging baby sitters. We can also answer any questions you might have & help point you to our favourite bits of the mountain. For the cleaning we do the communal areas everyday. We do not clean the bedrooms each day, this is part of our ethos of really trying to keep the prices down where possible..

Beginner Skiers in Les Gets, France

We are always very happy to help introduce beginner skier's to the sport! We can arrange all your lessons, hire and lift passes for you at a suitable level to make sure you are getting the most out of your time here. We will also give anyone booked into beginner's lessons a lift down to their lesson in the mornings to make sure you get to the right place at the right time to meet you instructor.

Children & Childcare

Les Gets is a great resort for families. The whole village is set-up very well to cater for families with many ski schools, childcare options and even a section of the mountain for children only!

We are more than happy to provide simpler more child-friendly meals and an earlier high tea sitting for them if you would prefer that. Children are also welcome to eat with the main adults meals as well of course.

We are more than happy either to arrange your childcare for you or to help point you in the right direction of the various options Les Gets Childcare has to offer.

Infants

There are British Nanny Companies that provide a nanny who comes to the chalet to look after your little ones in the chalet itself. This is a great service in our experience but it is expensive. Please see Cheeky Monkeys Childcare.

There's also the local nursery in the village centre. This is the more economic option and we would gladly give you a lift to and from here. Click here for more information

Children (3 - 12 yrs)

Children can have ski lessons from aged 3 upwards. For 3 yr olds and 4 yr olds it's more of an introduction to skiing mixed with fun and games. From 5 yrs they start to learning to ski a bit more seriously. The main ski school, ESF, also run the activity club for children here in Les Gets, France. It's a very well designed system where you can book lessons and childcare all together, and they will take care of all the joins. For example you can drop your child at morning childcare. They will then drop them at their lessons, pick them up afterwards and even take them to lunch as well!

There are many options here from booking ski lessons only to booking all day programs of morning lessons, lunch and afternoon activity club. We'd recommend the best is to call us and we'd be more than happy to talk you through all the options. You can also see more information at:

If your child is in childcare or beginner's lessons then we'll gladly give you a lift down in the mornings. This is to help you get to the right place on time, and to help save any last minute scrambles to get to the meeting point!
