The Mazot - Les Gets

The Mazot is something truly special. A romantic chalet just for 2 people hidden yet right by the ski slopes in Les Gets.

A Mazot is traditionally a small building in the grounds separate from the chalet. It was where the wealthier alpine farmers would store their important belonging due of the risk of fire in their main farm houses.

This Mazot is over 200 years old and has been wonderfully restored to make a secluded hide-away for 2, ideal for short breaks & romantic get-aways. Just 1 hr's drive from Geneva and in the largest ski area in Europe, The Mazot makes the perfect location for any romantic ski break.

The mazot can also be booked along with Chalet Perdu to make an extra bedroom for the chalet, in this case with all guests eating together in the chalet.

Mazot Layout

Upstairs in the Mazot is your bedroom - a kind sized sleight bed in your own mountain hideaway. There's a terrace in front of the main door, opened by an old iron key. Down below the bedroom is the large bathroom & dressing room, including a shower and separate claw-footed bath.

Mazot Location

The mazot is located 50m from the main slopes in the heart of Les Gets Ski Resort. It's in the gardens of Chalet Perdu. The Mazot & Chalet Perdu are secluded & private, giving true peace and relaxation, yet have the village & Les Gets' skiing on your doorstep. It's about 100m to the main Chavannes Express Chairlift.

What's Included in the Ski Holidays

Each Morning the Chalet Chef will deliver a hamper breakfast to you: eggs, cereals, a steaming pot of coffee and much more to start your day.

When you return from the slopes you will find a bottle of champagne chilling on the terrace in a champagne bucket filled with snow.

For the evening Les Gets has a wonderful selection of savoyard restaurants to delight your taste buds, and we'd be more than happy to make some recommendations & reservations on your behalf.

The Mazot is ideal for short breaks and long weekend skiing just for two, and is offered on this bed-and-breakfast plan. If though you book the Mazot along with the rest of the chalet it can be on a fully catered basis with all guests eating together in the chalet.
