The communal areas in this top-floor apartment are really spacious, with kitchen, living and dining areas all forming an open-plan space that runs the full width of the property. A huge corner sofa demarcates a comfortable lounge area by the TV. In the middle of the room, a large square dining table forms the focal point of the apartment. With plenty of room to get past/around and the fridge temptingly close by, this is a popular spot for groups playing games or just trading stories of their adventures on the slopes.
This L-shaped twin/double bedroom offers ample space for the two lucky guests who get it. There is a wash basin as well as an open ensuite bath with shower over. Situated immediately opposite the bedroom door, the WC is shared with the quad room.
Perfect for a couple, this cosy double bedroom has an ensuite shower, wash basin and WC.
Although very popular with families, the two bunk beds of this large quad room are plenty large enough for grown-ups, too. There is an open ensuite area with shower and wash basin. WC is shared with the twin bedroom.
La Rocade Top Floor Apartment is part of the Chalet La Rocade property - a large chalet building made up of two apartments, plus ground-floor staff accommodation. You can book La Rocade Top Floor Apartment as a standalone property, or you can combine it with La Rocade Middle Floor Apartment to accommodate larger groups of up to 14 guests. These two apartments share access to the outdoor hot tub and the downstairs ski room.

For less confident skiers and beginners, the bus stop is across the road. 5 minutes and you'll be at the more central Chavannes lift and/or the ski school.
Since 2019, there has been a blue slope running all the way down the Perrieres lift, making it even easier for less confident skiers to get back to the chalet each evening.
La Rocade Top Floor Apartment is a 5 minute walk from the Perrières chairlift and just 100m from the Hotel le Chinfrey Bar. For staff nights off, La Fruitière des Perrières Restaurant is across the road from the apartment.
Collect your skis from the storage room and take the short walk across the road to the Perrieres lift. This high-speed chair lift will deliver you straight to the famous Les Gets "bowl" in just a few minutes. For the less experienced, a bus ride will get you to the ski school and the Chavannes cable car—in 5 minutes. This delivers you straight to the beginner slopes. For the outward journey, bus routes Ligne A and C are recommended.
If you're confident skiing blue slopes, then take the Vorosse and then Les Trembles which will bring you all the way to the bottom of the Perrieres ski lift. For the less experienced, or for those who prefer to stop in the village centre for aprés ski, the resort shuttle bus will get you home in 5 minutes. The bus route is Ligne B.
Local tourist tax for the 2024-2025 season is €2.30 per night per adult. An adult is anyone who is 18 years or older.
It is a requirement for all bookings that all guests have holiday insurance which includes cancellation cover. If you cancel your holiday for any reason (including force majeure) a cancellation charge will be due. For further details about force majeure events, please see our terms and conditions The cancellation charge varies depending on the length of notice which is given for the cancellation, as well as which cancellation policy you chose at the time of booking.

Our FlexiPlus Cancellation Policy does not cover you if you, or a party member, cannot travel due to being a close contact or displaying covid-19 symptoms, either before your holiday or in resort. It also does not cover you if a party member contracts covid-19 in resort. Please make sure your travel insurance will cover you for these situations.

If the French authorities instruct us to close our chalets due to Covid-19 before your stay, you'll get a 100% refund of what you've paid us.
You must let us know if you wish to cancel, even in scenarios that might seem obvious (e.g. if all borders are closed). If you do not let us know you wish to cancel then you'll be classed as a "no-show" and the full holiday price forfeited. You must let us know in writing that you wish to cancel, by email is fine.
×If you have booked a week-long holiday, chalet hosting and catering is included on 5 nights of your stay. The other 2 evenings are staff nights off and catering is not included as standard. If you would like to stay in the comfort of your chalet one night but don't wish to cook; we can organise a delicious 2 course evening menu for you, for one of the staff nights off. We offer our beloved Tartiflette served with a fresh side salad and a delicious 'dessert du jour' for €18.00 per portion. This can be enjoyed in the warmth of your chalet with all your included wine, beer and chalet drinks. The meals will be delivered to your host in the morning and they will talk you through the easy re-heating instructions after breakfast.If you would like us to organise this for you, please just let us know which night you would like the Tartiflette reserved for, we would recommend this for the first night off.
×As an optional add-on, you can choose to have your room cleaned every day of your stay. For this optional extra, a price of €100 per room applies (€50 for short breaks). To add room cleaning to your booking, just let us know when you book.
×If you're driving to Les Gets and wish to secure a parking space during your stay with us, we can arrange this for you at no extra cost (subject to availability).
We can organise an undercover parking space for your whole stay (regardless of the length of stay), underneath our chalets Negritelles 1 and Negritelles 2 (six spaces in total and subject to availability). They're conveniently located right in the village centre, in front of the ice-rink.
Please note that the parking spaces need to be booked in advance, just let us know your requirements when you book.

La Rocade Top Floor Apartment occupies one of the three floors which make up the Chalet La Rocade building. The two top floors apartments can be booked separately or they can be combined to make one larger chalet which can accommodate groups of 14 guests. The ground-floor apartment is used by our staff. Here is a very quick summary of the three options.
Shared access to a secured ski room with boot warmers and plenty of storage space. Nobody likes cold wet ski boots in the morning.
After a long day on the slopes, relax those aching muscles with a soothing dip in the hot tub. Please note, this hot tub is shared by the two La Rocade top floors apartments.
300m from the Perrieres ski lift with a bus stop across the road. A shop, a restaurant and a bar all within 100m of the front door.
At no extra cost to you, we can organise your lift pass, equipment hire, ski lessons, airport transfers and childcare. This free concierge service is part of your holiday package with us.
Nobody likes queuing for the shower. All rooms in this apartment are ensuite. Please note, the twin room and the quad share a w.c.
On your arrival day, we will aim to have your chalet ready by 4pm and you should feel welcome to arrive at La Rocade Top Floor Apartment from that time onwards. On your departure day, the check-out time is 10am and the chalet must be vacated by that time. If you arrive in Les Gets before 4pm or wish to leave after 10am, we will be happy to provide space to store baggage however there will be no access to the chalet itself.
Arriving during these times will ensure that your accommodation is ready and waiting for you as soon as you're in resort — especially handy if you have children to look after. While getting into Les Gets in the morning and hitting the slopes straight away sounds great in theory, in practice the logistics can get a bit overwhelming. While we're happy to store your luggage, we can't always offer you a place to get 'ski-ready'. If your flight times are such that you can't avoid an early arrival, dropping your luggage with us and head out to soak up the atmosphere and get a bite to eat would be the more advisable option.
Please also note that if you arrive after 9pm, your evening meal will be provided (with heating up instructions) - but without the presence of your Chalet Host to serve you.
Again, while the thought of getting one last ski session in on your departure day sounds good, it can become a little tricky to pull off. Firstly, if the weather plays up, it will become a challenge to find alternative entertainment — especially with little ones. Secondly, as it's after checkout time, we can't offer anywhere for you to get changed back into your comfy clothes for your flight home.
If you've booked a late flight back, and if the weather isn't nice or you just don't want to ski, we highly recommend spending the day in Geneva. Why not take a stroll along the lakefront, you'll be amazed!

There are some great childcare options in Les Gets, with all ages catered for. Childcare company policies usually dictate that we can not arrange the booking on your behalf but we are always happy to offer information and advice. Let us arrange your ski lessons for you. As part of our concierge service, it won't cost a penny more than if you book direct - the only difference is that we do all the legwork for you. As part of our concierge service, we will be happy to organise your ski hire for you. The cost of ski hire is not included in your holiday package, but hiring your equipment through us won't cost you a penny more than going direct. So put your feet up and let us take care of everything for you.
For guests staying in La Rocade Top Floor Apartment, we usually recommend a local ski hire shop called Pure Experience. They're a great local company with well-maintained equipment and very knowledgeable staff.
New this season! Pure Experience will be offering a drop-off and pick-up service to our guests staying in La Rocade Top Floor Apartment. As the shop is located near-by the chalet, you can have all the benefit of being fitted in the shop, without the hassle of carrying your skis home!
Alternatively, our guests staying in La Rocade Top Floor Apartment can choose to hire from Delavay Sports ski rental shop. They're situated right by the main Chavannes ski lift, near the ski school.
All you need to do is let us know what you need. From there, we will take care of everything and make sure that your equipment is ready for you when you arrive in Les Gets. If this is your first ski trip, just let us know and we can guide you through the whole process. You can also find out more and view prices on our ski hire page.
Once you have booked your flights, just let us know the details and we can arrange your airport transfers for you. The cost of the transfers is not included in your holiday package, but we will be very happy to make all the arrangements for you as part of our concierge service. You won't pay a penny more than if you go direct, so leave the legwork to us!
We provide a free concierge service for all of our guests. Let us organise your lift passes, ski hire, ski lessons, airport transfers and childcare. It costs no more than booking direct, only we do all the hard work for you. Here are some of the most popular services which we can help you with. If we make the booking on your behalf, you will pay the same price as if you were to go direct. In the case of childcare, the booking must be made by the parents but we are always happy to help with advice and recommendations.
Your catered holiday package with us includes evening meals on 5 nights of a week-long stay. On the other nights, when our chalet hosts are off, we will be happy to make a table reservation at a local restaurant of your choice. If you're not sure where is best, just let us know what kind of dining experience you most enjoy and we will be happy to recommend somewhere for you.
