The Haute Savoie is the name for the local area of France that contains much of the French Alps. This area has some outstanding scenery and locations, so this pack has been designed to give you a little taster of what the Haute-Savoie has to offer.

Day One - Lake Annecy

The medieval town of Annecy stands on the shores of one of the most famous and stunning lakes in the Alps - Lake Annecy. Know as the Venice of the Alps, Annecy's canals run through the heart of the old part of the town. Winding streets lined with busy cafes, the medeval castle looking over the old town, beaches, watersports and stunning hikes around the mountain peaks that encompass Lake Annecy, there really is something for everyone here.

Day Two - Chamonix and the Mer de Glace

The Chamonix valley is one of the most dramatic valleys in the alps. From a valley floor around 1000m peaks all around you soar straight up to over 4000m, crowned by Mont Blanc, europes' highest mountain. Great Glaciers tumble down the near vertical sides, displaying their blue inner core as they reach their end.
