More Adventure Sports in Les Gets

This alpine summer resort has a whole host of adventure sports for all ages and abilities. Below are some more of our favourite examples of what Les Gets Summer Holidays have to offer, though this website by no means has an exhaustive list. PARAGLIDING (Parapenting) *Included in our Adrenaline Pack

Discover the village and Mont-Blanc from a different angle! Paragliding is a very popular alpine activity where you run down the hillside attached to a parachute (and instructor)... until you take off and glide all the way down to the valley floor! A breathtaking experience, this offers a birds eye view of the summer mountain scenery and is not as extreme as you might think. It's something we'd recommend for everyone.

Canyoning

Canyoning is a fairly new adventure sport involving abseiling, walking and swimming down a river! If you've ever wanted to jump off waterfalls or slide down rapids then this is the sport for you.

White Water Rafting *Included in our Adventure Pack

The mountains offer plenty of white water and sports to take advantage of this. White water rafting is very popular, where you do in a large raft for 7 people and your guide.

Hydro White Water Swimming

This is where you swim down the rapids, equipped with a wetsuit, flippers and a float! If you've ever wanted the opportunities to jump into the white water then this is well worth a try.

Hod Dog Kayaking

These are inflatable Kayaks allowing you to tackle a range of terrain. You can attack the Dranse Rapids, or if you prefer head for the calm waters of Lake Geneva to go exploring instead.

Quad Biking

Morzine, which is about 10 minutes drive from Les Gets, has a quad biking circuit. We can arrange this & transport for you, please just get in touch if you'd like us to book it for you.

Tandem Sky Diving

The ultimate adrenaline sport with the most increadible scenery, if you can manage to keep your eyes open long enjoy to enjoy the views! Tandem skydiving is where the instructor is strapped to your back, so you are just along for the ride. After your briefing you would be taken up to 4000m before your jump begins. This give 1500m of free fall before your instructor opens the parachute and flys you back down to earth
