Les Gets Ski Pass Complete guide to Les Gets lift passes

Les Gets and Portes Du Soleil Lift Passes

Let us take care of everything

As part of your ski holiday with us, we will pre-book your liftpass and deliver it to you on arrival. There's no charge: this service is totally free. In fact, you'll pay less by booking with us than you would buying your lift pass at the pass office in resort. Arranging lessons is part of our free Concierge Service which is included in your holiday.

Which Lift Pass should I choose? There are two options

The two options for lift passes in Les Gets are the "Local Area" pass and the "Full Area" Pass. The local area pass just covers the area around Les Get and Morzine. Its is cheaper than the full area pass and it is good for beginners and people who don't want to travel far when skiing. The full area pass covers all of the Portes Du Soleil. It is more expensive than the local area pass. It is suitable for people who like to see more and travel further while out skiing. Lets look at these in detail:

If you are 5yrs or below, or 76yrs and above, then your local and full area lift pass is free (you just need to pay €3 for the hands-free magnetic card). For any questions about lift passes during your holiday with us, please just get in touch.

Option 1: Local Area Lift Pass

Les Gets & Morzine

A great all round lift pass. This covers over 120kms of pistes with 50+ lifts around Les Gets and Morzine. We'd recommend this lift pass for beginners and intermediates. Also if you are getting lessons then we'd recommend this lift pass (after your lessons, you probably won't have time to ski beyond this area and back again). This pass is perfect for those looking to take it easy and explore the local area.

Option 2: Full Area Lift Pass

The Portes Du Soleil

Discounts for beginners

If you book group lessons with ESF for adults beginners, children's (up to 12 years old) beginners or class 1, then we can arrange the special lift pass and lesson deal to get you discounted lift passes. This applies both to ski and snowboard lessons. Note: These are local area (Les Gets and Morzine) lift passes.

Prices for 2019-2020

  • Adult (13+ yrs) beginner lift pass - €138.00
  • Children (5 - 12 yrs) beginner lift pass - €79.00

These prices includes the €3.00 card charge

Snow Risk Insurance

Top Tip: We can also include on-the-mountain insurance when you buy your lift pass. In the unlikely event of an accident on the slopes, Snow Risk insurance covers everything required to get you off the pistes - up to and including being helicoptered off which can be quite expensive. Although your travel insurance company would usually reimburse such costs, Snow Risk means you don't have to pay anything up front or think about money when you have more pressing things on your mind! This only covers getting you off the mountain, it does not cover anything else.

The cost of this insurance is 3 Euros a day and it can be booked at the same time as you book your lift pass. Please note Snow Risk only covers getting you off the mountain,t does not cover any medical expenses.

When To Book

We normally recommend you arrange your lift passes around the holiday balance payment date (60 days before you depart for Les Gets). We have a card machine we can bring around the your chalet, where each person can pay for their lift passes. Online payment for passes prior to your holiday is also an option. We do not charge extra for any of these services.
