This local food market is a great way to sample the home grown Savoyard mountain delights such as cheese, cured meats, fruit and veg. You will also find flowers & plants, clothing and handmade gifts. It is held every Thursday morning in the centre of Les Gets at "Marais Parking" close to the Chamois d'Or Hotel.

As part of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2023, come and discover the plants of the botanical garden of Père Delavay, on the national theme "The music of the garden".
This competition brings together about fifteen forestry tractors driven by experienced drivers, to navigate a technical and timed course, the objective being to score the fewest penalties in the shortest time over two rounds. Taking place every two years in Les Gets, Haute-Savoie, the competition brings together a large number of forestry professionals and enthusiasts from all over France and neighbouring countries.
This weekend also provides an opportunity to discover or rediscover all the equipment used for forestry operations, thanks to a forestry fair with some fifty exhibitors, including the world’s leading skidder manufacturers. There will also be several demonstrations to complete the programme. The Concours de Débardage Mécanisé de France is now an unmissable event in the forestry world, where atmosphere and conviviality are the key words!

The Pass'Portes is a major MTB event taking place in the Portes du Soleil resorts spanning France and Switzerland. 80 km of traced routes with lots of pit-stops serving up local specialties. 9 resort starting points in Swtizerland and France: Avoriaz, Chatel, Les Gets, Montriond-Lindarets & Morzine on the French side and Champery, Les Crosets, Torgon and Morgins in Switzerland.

The Trail des Hauts Forts is one of biggest trail races in the area and serves as a qualifying event for the revered UTMB in Chamonix. Competitors can take on either a 23km, 40km or 50km course, starting in Morzine and heading up the Vallée de la Manche, over the Hauts Forts and into Avoriaz.
Part of a series that takes place over the summer, here's your chance to see the true power of the 4x4. This popular event sees competitors from across the area bring their off-road vehicles to Les Gets and try to work their way around a series of short courses consisting of steeps, rocks, mud, and maybe even a stream.
This six-day-long festival is made up of lots of dance lessons by day, from classical ballroom to salsa to lindy hop, while in the evenings you can enjoy themed nights with incredible dance demos. There will be over 160 hours of lessons and over 40 professional instructors present.
Local downhill mountain bike race reserved for children 7 to 14 years old. Younger downhill riders have had their very own race in Les Gets for 2 years now. This event allows champions of the future (7 to 14 years) to put themselves in the shoes of the pros, with a timed descent in conditions similar to those of the top races. The programme includes a reconnaissance of the track, free practice heats and then 2 timed heats to determine the winners in each category.

The Gêtois Residents' Association proposes a gourmet walk with various stops in the village's key places. Take your questionnaire and set off on an 8km rally. At each stage, you will be generously served with regional products and drinks to ensure your typical meal. There will be entertainment and many prizes!

Prepare for three days of souped-up rally cars round town, the screeching of tyres round tight mountain corners and the screaming of engines in the distance as some of the world's best drivers battle it out on Morzine and Avoriaz's mountain roads to be the ultimate rally champion.
For the 4th edition of Alambike, the 24-hour mountain bike event is when teams of 4 to 8 participants will need to clock up as many kilometres as possible in a relay round the iconic cross-country course from the MTB World Championships! What for? To raise record donations for a charity! An event open to all types of bikes, from classic to electric: mixed teams allowed.
With many international competitions already hosted, including the MTB World Championships in 2004 and 2022, let's meet for a new MTB World Cup (XCO, DHI and XCC) where the best MTB riders from around the world will come to compete.
