Popular with families and groups of adults, a summer holiday in Les Gets has several advantages over a Mediterranean-style beach holiday. As well as being more affordable, it also offers more comfortable temperatures - especially for those with young children. The biggest attraction, though, is the range of activities on offer. There is so much to do in Les Gets during the warm summer months. This page will give you just a flavour.
Your catered holiday package with us includes evening meals on 5 nights of a week-long stay. On the other nights, when our chalet hosts are off, we will be happy to make a table reservation at a local restaurant of your choice. If you're not sure where is best, just let us know what kind of dining experience you most enjoy and we will be happy to recommend somewhere for you.×
When summer arrives, Les Gets transforms from a world-class ski resort into a hive of summer activities. Throughout a long warm summer, Les Gets enjoys a relaxed atmosphere, warm and friendly — in keeping with its traditional Alpine roots.
The countless artisan shops offer all sorts of local crafts and produce, giving a real Savoyard feel to the village. There's a cinema (showing films in English every week), a swimming lake, the adventure park, ten pin bowling alley and much more.
Les Gets has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are evening concerts and shows which you can appreciate from a terrace of one of the many bars and restaurants. Get in touch to ask us what's going on while you're visiting.
There are many good bars worth checking out, hosting live music and all the big sports matches are shown too. Most bars are open until 2am, and for those with energy still to burn there is the Igloo nightclub, which is open until 5am! If though you are looking for a loud party town then Les Gets might not be for you.
Les Gets Summer swimming lake is built in the middle of the nature, just 200m from our the chalets, ideal for those who would like to rest in the sun. You can enjoy scenic views of all the mountains all around with your feet in warm water.
With average temperatures in the low-twenties, the climate is perfect for people who want to do more than just sunbathe. Warm enough to top-up your tan. Cool enough to get a great day of fun activities in the mountains.
