About The Alpine Lodge

Welcome to The Alpine Lodge, our flagship chalet in Les Gets centre. Recently built to our own high standards and specifications, this premium chalet is located just 400m from the ski schools and the main Chavannes Express chairlift.

That's unbeatable access to the incredible Les Gets skiing. Including two family suites, all rooms are finished to the highest standards. The Alpine Lodge holds up to 16 guests in six bedrooms.

Communal Areas

The open-plan living and dining spaces open out onto a private decking area where you will find the hot tub. The lounge offers plenty of space for everyone to unwind before reconvening at the long dining table for dinner.

A spacious second-floor double bedroom with access to balcony (shared with Room 2). Ensuite facilities including wc, wash basin and shower.

A spacious second-floor double bedroom with access to balcony (shared with Room 1). Ensuite facilities including wc, wash basin and shower.

Room 3

A spacious second-floor double bedroom with ensuite facilities including wc, wash basin and shower.

Room 4

Two partitioned sections: a double room and an additional bunk room. Bunk room is ideal for the kids. Ensuite bathroom with shower.

Room 5

A large open-plan family room on the top-floor of the chalet. One double or twin bed and two single beds. Spacious ensuite bathroom. Ideal for a family of four or a group of friends. Please note, the ceiling is quite low in places.

Room 6

New since 2023, Alpine Lodge now features an extra spacious twin or double bedroom with ensuite facilities including wc, wash basin and shower.

Property Location

The Alpine Lodge is situated in the very heart of Les Gets village. Just a 400m stroll to the ski school and the lifts, as well as the shops, bars and restaurants. From the chalet door, it's a short, straight walk right to the main Chavannes Express chair lift.

What's Nearby?

In this central location, you're just 150m from the nearest bar and restaurant, both situated in the Chamois d'Or Hotel — just around the corner.

Leaving each morning

Leave your ski gear at Delavay Sports hire shop so you can walk the easy 400m to the Chavannes lift each morning. It's conveniently located right by the lift, the ski school and the aprés ski.

Returning each afternoon

Drop your skis and boots back into Delavay Sports and stroll back to the chalet, where a freshly baked cake awaits you. The main aprés ski bar is 400m from the chalet.

Outdoor Hot Tub

An essential ingredient for any ski chalet holiday. After a long day on the slopes, relax those aching muscles with a soothing dip in the outdoor hot tub.

Central location

Just 400m to the main lifts and the ski school, plus the shops, bars and restaurants. The Alpine Lodge is perfectly located in an area that's central but quiet.

Cosy Fire

Warm your toes by the fire as you return from the slopes each afternoon. A roaring fire is the centrepiece of a cosy chalet atmosphere.

Family Suite

Extra changing room

For early arrivals and late departures. The Alpine Loft has a changing-room facility with shower and toilet. Ideal if you want to ski on arrival and departure days.

Concierge Service

People often ask us about...

  • Arrival / Departure Times

    On your arrival day, we will aim to have your chalet ready by 4pm and you should feel welcome to arrive at The Alpine Lodge from that time onwards. On your departure day, the check-out time is 10am and the chalet must be vacated by that time. If you arrive in Les Gets before 4pm or wish to leave after 10am, we will be happy to provide space to store baggage however there will be no access to the chalet itself.

    Optimal time to arrive: Between 4pm and 6pm.

    Arriving during these times will ensure that your accommodation is ready and waiting for you as soon as you're in resort — especially handy if you have children to look after. While getting into Les Gets in the morning and hitting the slopes straight away sounds great in theory, in practice the logistics can get a bit overwhelming. While we're happy to store your luggage, we can't always offer you a place to get 'ski-ready'. If your flight times are such that you can't avoid an early arrival, dropping your luggage with us and head out to soak up the atmosphere and get a bite to eat would be the more advisable option.

    Please also note that if you arrive after 9pm, your evening meal will be provided (with heating up instructions) - but without the presence of your Chalet Host to serve you.

    Optimal time to depart: Between 9am and 10am.

    Again, while the thought of getting one last ski session in on your departure day sounds good, it can become a little tricky to pull off. Firstly, if the weather plays up, it will become a challenge to find alternative entertainment — especially with little ones. Secondly, as it's after checkout time, we can't offer anywhere for you to get changed back into your comfy clothes for your flight home.

    If you've booked a late flight back, and if the weather isn't nice or you just don't want to ski, we highly recommend spending the day in Geneva. Why not take a stroll along the lakefront, you'll be amazed!

    Changing Room

    Good news for guests staying in The Alpine Lodge. This property shares a changing-room facility with next-door chalet, The Alpine Loft. This shared facility includes a shower and wc. Ideal if you want to ski on arrival and departure days. Wearing of a mask in mandatory in the changing room.

  • Can I book a short break?

    Yes, The Alpine Lodge offers short breaks and ski weekends as well as week-long stays. For further details, see The Alpine Lodge's current prices and availability.

  • Childcare

    There are some great childcare options in Les Gets, with all ages catered for. Childcare company policies usually dictate that we can not arrange the booking on your behalf but we are always happy to offer information and advice. You can also find out more by visiting our Les Gets childcare page. The cost of childcare is not included in your holiday package.

  • Ski Lessons

    Let us arrange your ski lessons for you. As part of our concierge service, it won't cost a penny more than if you book direct - the only difference is that we do all the legwork for you. To find out more, visit our Les Gets ski and snowboarding lessons page. The cost of ski lessons is not included in your holiday package.

  • Ski Hire

    As part of our concierge service, we will be happy to organise your ski hire for you. The cost of ski hire is not included in your holiday package, but hiring your equipment through us won't cost you a penny more than going direct. So put your feet up and let us take care of everything for you.

    For guests staying in The Alpine Lodge, we usually recommend hiring ski equipment from Delavay Sports ski rental shop. They're situated right by the main Chavannes ski lift, near the ski school, so the location is just as good as the gear. Delavay can store your equipment and boots for you each night, meaning you can make your way from The Alpine Lodge to the shop and back wearing your comfortable shoes. Great news for the skiers!

    All you need to do is let us know what you need. From there, we will take care of everything and make sure that your equipment is ready for you when you arrive in Les Gets. If this is your first ski trip, just let us know and we can guide you through the whole process. You can also find out more and view prices on our ski hire page.

  • Airport Transfers

    Once you have booked your flights, just let us know the details and we can arrange your airport transfers for you. The cost of the transfers is not included in your holiday package, but we will be very happy to make all the arrangements for you as part of our concierge service. You won't pay a penny more than if you go direct, so leave the legwork to us!

    • Continental Breakfast

      A delicious breakfast buffet comprising of freshly baked baguette with French butter or vegan margarine, pain au chocolat & croissants, yoghurts (natural - local from the fromagerie Fruitiere des Perrieres), chocolate spread, homemade granola, jams and honey, and a basket of fresh fruits (bananas, clementines, apples and lemons).

    • Hot Options

      Available every morning, to fill you up and get you set for the day. French crepes, bacon and eggs (boiled, fried or scrambled), omelette (ham, cheese or plain) or a hearty bowl of porridge.

      Every day of your stay, a different special option is available. Some of our favourites include a fruit smoothie, a pineapple plate, the breakfast bruschetta, the classic croque monsieur, or a ham and cheese croissant.

  • Dietary Requirements in this Chalet

    At Mountain and Tradition, we take your dietary requirements very seriously and we try to make sure that all our guests are well catered for. While we try to make sure that every dish is sure to impress, please be aware that we do not have the same degree of flexiblity that you might expect in a restaurant. Use this section to get a sense of how we adapt our standard menus to suit the following needs.

    Food intolerances and allergies

    Our menus can be adapted to suit those with intolerances and allergies to wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts and sesame. For allergies please be aware there may still be traces in our dishes as we can not remove these food items from our central kitchen. Soya, fish and shellfish are not used in any of our dishes. If you have a dietary need which you think we should know about, please let us know at the time of booking.

    I'm a vegetarian. What can I expect?

    All our meals have vegetarian options available. You can see many of them listed as "alternative options" in our evening meal menus. Our vegetarian dishes present a twist on the French classics, mouth-watering pies and hearty stews. If you're not a vegetarian but just fancy some meat-free nights just let us know, it's not a problem at all.

    I'm a vegan. What can I expect?

    Our vegetarian menu can be adapted to suit vegans. Let us know your requirements when you book and we will make sure there are plant-based options at every meal sitting of your stay. However, please be aware that our vegan menu is less flexible and less varied than our other menus.

Would go back!Great catered accommodation in an excellent location. Olive & Rosie, the chalet staff, were discreet, helpful and charming. The cuisine was delicious and plentiful with an accent on locally sourced fare and flavour. The lodge offers functional yet comfortable accommodation. The location a short flat walk to the centre and ski lifts. Belinda looked after all our “odds and ends” and nothing was too much trouble.

Girls week away, with OliveA fabulous week with friends, looked after by Olive. Olive did a fantastic job , preparing meals, offering information and just a lovely smiley lady. A fabulous lodge in great location short walk or bus to lift. Rooms warm and cosy prepared by Olive. En-suite bathrooms well stocked by Olive. I can't wait to come back.

Great Chalet in the heart of Les GetsThe chalet location was great near the chairlift and town. The service by the hosts and management were fantastic. The food was top quality and cooked with pride and afternoon cakes and snacks were amazing with two or three options. The chalet was modern and clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after a days skiing. Assistance with the passes was great with no hesitation for changes.

The best experienceFantastic Chalet so close to lifts. My son and I had a memorable trip with great skiing, Belinda was an excellent guide both locally in les Gets and on a trip into Switzerland. Everything was extremely well organised for us from ski passes to ski hire. The food was absolutely top notch and the breakfast super tasty. Fabulous time staying in the chaletSue, Amanda, Gill and Jo had a fabulous time staying in the chalet. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with hearty, delicious meals that were perfect after a day on the slopes. Mica and Phoebe were outstanding chalet hosts - attentive, cheerful and always happy to help, which really made the experience special. The location is ideal, with an easy and pleasant walk to the slopes, making everything very convenient. Overall, it was a feel-good place to stay, and we couldn't have asked for more. Solo ski tripIve used M&T Les Gets for a number of years and they never fail to provide a great holiday experience, from the accommodation to the food, the wine and of course the great service, they really make it a pleasure to stay here in Les Gets. Olive and Rosey made us all feel so welcome, nothing is ever too much trouble and everything is done with a big beaming smile. Basically we all wanted to come back!The whole family enjoyed a wonderful stay in a nicely renovated Chalet with excellent amenities for skiers (think ski boots automatically warmed in the morning just before you slide your feet in), a nice and spacious salon where large families or groups can gather and relax, play and enjoy a good movie, and a very nice and large jacuzzi on the terrace!! But what stood out the most was the quality of the service and catering. Raphael, the owner AND chef knows how to assemble a team to deliver superb and friendly service for a thoroughly enjoyable fully catered experience. We ate like kings for a whole week (and yes all came home with a few extra pounds, but well worth the ensuing diets). I also really enjoyed Raphael's passion in presenting dinners menu made up of locally sourced produce and ingredients. What a treat!!

Lovely wine too 😊 as with all chalets you need to watch your head in the upstairs rooms and one of the rooms downstairs could do with an update but the rest of the chalet was superb in a great location for town and the gondola. Good location poor vegetarian foodChalet is wonderfully located and if you are looking for a catered chalet experience that does part weeks and doesn’t cost the earth I’d recommend. Charlotte the host and Belinda working in concierge make the experience. A chef is responsible for the centrally designed vegetarian options and this feels a little like the vegetarian food from the 1970’s, reliant too much much on cheese and lacking inspiration.

Exceeded expectationsArrived the Sunday before Easter after a very wet drive up from Geneva - made very welcome by Brendan and Belinda - about whom more later. We were a 3 generation family party of 11 including 5 children. We didn’t quite fill the lodge - spacious bedrooms, well thought out to accommodate different parties with a large open plan living - dining - kitchen area. Great hot tub out the back to rejuvenate tired legs and keep the youngsters entertained until they went wrinkly. A variety of games books and puzzles together with a large flat screen TV filled the few gaps between other activities. Chalet host Brendan was a star - coping with the youngsters’ requests for more pancakes and acquiescing to their requests for English broccoli instead of French (apparently his florets were too large?!!). His musical tastes were spot on, in tune with the 65 yr old grandparents, and his clearly well researched bar recommendations were respected by the middle generation. On his off days (something to do with end of season partying we understand and alarm failure that he fessed up to) he was well assisted by his colleague Immy. Between them they served up delicious meals with the local dishes complementing each other, course by course. They should go far. You won’t run short of beer or wine and it was only by superhuman efforts that we managed to get to see the back of the beer fridge and trigger a re-stock. No problem was too difficult for Belinda to solve: whisking 10 of us through Delavay sports for equipment hire as it was closing on Sunday evening, arranging for daughter-in-law to have a personal “lesson” from Belinda’s 'mountain man' ski instructor and then sorting the 11 yr old’s snowboarding problems. A week’s snowboarding group lessons had been prebookec with ESF who unknown to anyone changed the booking to ski lessons - cue a very disappointed lad on Monday morning. One call to Belinda and 5 minutes later Clement, a cool young ESF boarding instructor, was with us at the bottom of the slopes and then available for 3 further private lessons - well recommended to get him started. It seemed that Belinda was able to arrange the appropriate instructor for the individual. It’s difficult to think of any real issues and we very much hope to return in the future

Perfect ski weekendWe were a group of 6 women staying Thursday - Sunday. Our chalet host Emma could not have been more lovely - she was friendly, super organised and put everyone at ease and made all the house very welcome. Emma was unruffled by numerous requests for different breakfast dishes, and was the perfect balance of being great company but also hardly noticing she was there when it was 'down time'. Our meals were delicious and the Croqu’en bouche were out of this world! It was a very relaxing stay from start to finish, with Belinda being incredibly helpful both before and during the whole of our stay - booking restaurants, sharing tips on the piste, sorting our lift passes etc. Thank you - No question we will be back next year!

The chalet was comfortable and had everything we needed (slight issue with our shower that was resolved as soon as we mentioned it). The food was all delicious (& plenty of it)! When things go wrong you know how truly excellent your hosts are…….A very good modern chalet, only 5 normal walking minutes from the Chavannes lifts. Everything we needed for skiing was arranged ahead of our arrival, allowing us very quick access to the slopes. Our room had a glorious big bath tub, as well as a shower, and loads of hot water. The food was excellent, and the evening meal quality was very good restaurant standard. What really set the place apart however was the truly outstanding hosting by Belinda. Out of our group of four we had a broken leg and a broken arm, both on the first afternoon. Belinda was exceptional in sorting things out for us in every aspect. Be that hospital transfers, translating medical issues, or restaurant bookings and ski area recommendations for the two remaining skiers. I cannot speak highly enough of the very personal, friendly support and help she provided.

The chalet is fantastic, food wonderful and the chalet host Mary is so lovely and a brilliant host; nothing was too much trouble. A fabulous, fun and fantastic week of luxurious and indulgent fun and feeding.What a week! We stayed as a big family and friends group in February 2020, just before all the lockdowns and met the gorgeous Raph and Belinda who made us so welcome with Raph's fantastic cooking and Belinda's brilliant care. How could we have expected more? Well, having missed a year due to Covid we returned in February 2022 to more fabulous food and care from Belinda and Raph but yet even more of a brilliant experience made excellent by the delightful Emma. Emma immediately struck up a great relationship with all 7 kids of varying ages in the party. She then managed to be make all of us feel welcome and at home and cared for. Emma catered for our differing needs with fabulous positivity and grace, we would in fact love to join her on her end of season paragliding trip, ah, if only we could stay until then!

Ski holidayWhat a fantastic team. We were looked after so well. Hot tub is amazing. Food excellent and got loads of help with ski passes, ski rental and where to go on the mountain. Best ski holiday we’ve ever had. Great resort loads of variety for skiing. Highly recommend this chalet company.

Large group Ski holidayWe were a group of 27, 13 adults and 14 children aged 5-15. We occupied alpine lodge & loft. Mary had the job of feeding the children in loft and did a superb job, whilst a little later the adults went across to lodge to be served some delicious meals by Emma. All the hosts were professional and friendly. I would also definitely recommend taking advantage of the take away delivery service provided on the hosts nights off. The chalet was perfect and we had a great stay, hopefully we’ll return again in the future.

SuperbSuperb, every year it is fantastic, can’t recommend enough, service, food quality, facilities, location are all fantastic. We are a young family of 4, very accommodating to the little ones. Cooking their food at times to suit us, plus managing larger groups of skiers. The lodge caters for all types of visitors. We have had a great time with other families, Couples, groups of guys and girls and always works well regardless.

...would like to return againHad a great weeks skiing in Les Gets at the chalet du coin, with excellent food and drink, friendly and helpful staff and an assortment of facilities including a hot tub and boot warmers. My only complaint is that it couldn't go on for another week as I had such a good time! Would definitely recommend and would like to return again. Thank you

FaultlessLovely comfortable chalet with amazing staff and food. Easy access to the slopes and if you don't fancy skiing, the staff will delight you with alternative suggestions and opportunities. Nothing is a bother. First class!

Fantastic service, excellent food and friendly hosts.We loved the place, very family friendly and good skiing too. The hospitality was flawless; everything you could wish for. We loved our friendly hosts who went out of their way to catering for every wish of ours. And the food - gorgeous! We will certainly recommend this place to friends and family.

Perfect holidayThere are not enough stars to rate this Chalet! Everything was unbelievably fantastic. Spacious and impeccably clean rooms. Super nice food. Especially hosts Emily and George went out of their way to make our stay magical and Belinda took care of our needs from arrival to departure. We will surely be coming back!

Like a boomerang, Back again for first a first class catered ski experience.Great location, great food, great staff. Dad and son short week visit, lucky to share the chalet with a great larger group. The staff, Chef Raph, Belinda (like your mum, sorts out all your issues) and hosts George Emily and Lara make your stay effortless and enjoyable.. 4th return visit I feel privileged to always find a suitable week to be spoilt.

Perfect choiceWe were lucky enough to take advantage of a cancellation at this property, and it was a great chance encounter. We stayed for just a few days, but from the moment we arrived, our every need was taken care of by the amazingly friendly and hard-working staff. Belinda is clearly a very experienced host and George ad Emily were just lovely – you instantly feel as though you are amongst friends. Apart from the staff, the property itself is top notch – great facilities for ski gear, modern rooms, clean, warm and well appointed. AMAZING!!!The food was excellent, the beds were great and everyone was so friendly(our hosts were Emily, Belinda, Katie and George and our Chef was Raph). The at the start of the week the WIFI was a bit slow but was easily fixed within a day but apart from that it was overall an amazing holiday.

Didn't want to leave!Didn't want to leave! That's how awesome the stay was. Hats off to hostess Belinda and chef Raf. Belinda is the definition of the consumate hostess - we wanted for nothing + she just sparkles. And the chef kept us so well fed with stunning haute cuisine that returning home to my own cooking was a disappoinment! If that wasn't enough, the house itself is gorgeous (spotless, chic, roomy, new, super modern, comfy, plush and minimalistic at the same time) and perfectly located near the main ski lift and all the town action. Standing ovation to the whole team that runs this chalet. Phenomenal experience.
