Ski Lessons in Les Gets

Ski Lessons in Les Gets Snowboard & Ski Lessons in Les Gets

For guests in our chalets we can arrange ski lessons for all levels and group sizes. We have partnered with ESF which is the largest and most well known ski school in Les Gets. Arranging lessons is part of our free Concierge Service which is included in your holiday. We do not add any extra charges; the price is identical if you book direct or through us. All we need to know is what you want we'll take care of the rest.

The normal arrangement for group lessons is 5 or 6 half day lessons (they are starting on either Sunday or Monday and run till Friday). The timing of these changes depending on the time of year.

For all beginners we can arrange the special beginner's lift pass deal (lift pass + lessons) when you book a beginners lesson with ESF at the same time as your lift pass. We've also a special beginner's section to help you with your selections. Please see our Beginner Guide to Skiing

You can see the listed ESF lesson prices on their website here: www.ski-school-lesgets.co.uk. There are other ski schools which we can arrange lessons with too so if you have a preference please just let us know.

Groups Ski Lessons (adults)

ESF group lessons are for adults and teenagers aged 14 years and above. There are also some teenage specific group lessons for 13- to 19-year-olds. For either group type, lessons are for 5 or 6 half days.

Group Size

In group ski and snowboard lessons, your instructor will be teaching up to 8 people together as a group. So, unless you are a group of 8, you will be sharing with others of similar ability to yourself. This set-up works well for most skiers and boarders. However, if shared group lessons aren't for you, then you may wish to consider private lessons.

Price

Adult group ski lessons are €163.00 per person for 5 or 6 half days of instruction. It is the same price for the whole season. This is the option most people choose.

Group Snowboarding Lessons (adults)

ESF group snowboarding lessons are for adults and teenagers aged 13 years and above. Lessons are for 5 or 6 half days. The timing and length of the lessons varies throughout the winter.

In group snowboard lessons, your instructor will be teaching up to 8 people together as a group. You will typically be sharing with others of similar ability to yourself. This set-up works well for most boarders. However, if shared group lessons aren't for you, then you may wish to consider private lessons.

Children & Teenagers

Children's lessons run from ages 3 to age 12. Above that, teenage or adult group lessons are available. We generally use ESF for our children's ski lessons, though there are other ski schools in Les Gets as well should you have an alternative preference. We find with children (and adults too for that matter) that half day lessons for 5 days of your stay seems to be the most popular option.

The great benefit with ESF is they also offer a childcare system that fits in with their lessons. There's 3 main segments - Kids Club (childcare), Lunches and Lessons. You can book whatever combination you like, and they'll arrange all the transitions in between. For example you could book morning lessons, lunch, then afternoon kids club. You would drop your child off at the lessons in the morning, then pick them up from the kids club at the end of the day, and they would sort out everything in between.

We would always recommend booking ahead, especially for the school holiday periods where things can book up quickly.

Private Lessons

We are able to book the below types of private lessons with ESF for you. Please note the times and prices for ski lessons varies over the winter. If you would prefer any other private ski lesson arrangements, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate. It also may be possible to arrange private lessons once in resort, subject to availability.
