Introduction to the Role

We will provide you with a full week of training, after which time your main duties will include:


Every morning you will deliver food to our Chalet Kitchen guests in Les Gets (20km/13mile radius). For these guests, you will be the face of Chalet Kitchen. You will also deliver food and supplies to our chalets and be responsible for the maintenance and storage of our supplies For deliveries, your average working day will start at 5am and finish around 11am. Evening deliveries will sometimes also be required.


You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of our chalets. You will be the first person called should any maintenance issue arise in our chalets. You will be the on-call maintenance person for 1 week out of every 2 (except on your day off).

Your working week, throughout the ski season, will vary but on average it will work out at 40 hours.

Job Description

You will be in charge of the delivery of food and supplies to our own chalets as well as food to Chalet Kitchen guests.

You will co-ordinate with our manager, who will oversee your duties and responsibilities

You will look after the cleanliness and tidiness of our vehicles. You will also be responsible for any non-accidental damage caused to the vehicle while you are in charge of it (e.g scratches, bumps or other damage caused by negligence, carelessness or inattention).

You will be expected to drive safely regardless of the weather conditions.

You are in charge of the day-to-day maintenance of our chalets.

You will look after all our hot tubs, including checking water quality, temperature and general functionality of all hot tubs.

You are in charge of maintaining stock levels and delivering supplies to chalets where needed.

You will have the flexibility to work in any of the departments of the company, should the need arise.

Step 4: Reference Checks

If you could give us the phone numbers of 2 references during or before the Skype interview. We only do reference checks by phone, please do not provide written references.

Recruitment Timescales

We do our recruitment in batches at the start of each calendar month. On the 1st day of each month we review the applications from the previous month, shortlist and would be in touch. The following stages will follow quickly from there, with everything wrapped up within a week or so.
